How it Works

My Memory Box creates a discreet scannable QR code plaque which is attached to a memorial which connects instantly via smartphones to an online personalised webpage dedicated to the memory of your loved one so that you and others can view a beautiful tribute to them and the life they lived.

This becomes your loved ones living archive webpage.

My Memory Box brings your memorial to life and allows you to share the unique life story of your loved one using words, photos and videos. Access to the content of the online tribute is controlled by you.

The My Memory Box Plaque can be easily fitted to headstones and memorial benches even if they are not new.

You can also use your loved ones unique QR code with the link to their Memory Box on memory cards or book marks.
This is a great way to invite friends and family to visit and share in the memories of your loved ones life, wherever they live.

Here are the 4 easy steps to getting your loved ones Memory Box online

1. When you register your loved one you will be sent a questionnaire outlining what information you might like to place on the web page.

This info can include:

  • Obituary
  • Family heritage and history
  • Videos
  • Photos
  • Comments by friends and relatives
  • Links to content from other websites your loved ones are featured on
  • Links to popular social sites such as Facebook or Twitter
  • Links to your loved ones favourite charity page where donations can be made

2. When the information is supplied the web page will be designed.

3. A link will be sent to you which you can forward to all family and friends.

4. A composite aluminium plaque will be sent to you with a laser-engraved QR code, which can be attached to

headstone or other memorial of your loved one. This type of plaque has the advantage over steel in that it looks as well as steel, but weathers better.  It will last longer with very little upkeep.  The QR plaque has a special adhesive that allows it to be attached easily to any memorial stone.

With correct application (which we will advise you on) the plaque will stay attached no matter what the weather conditions or what maintenance is being done.
